Bitget CFD to support user-adjustable account leverage

Bitget CFD has officially launched a new feature that lets you set your own account leverage cap, giving you more flexibility to manage margin usage and position size based on your risk appetite.

With this update, all CFD accounts (including existing users) now have a default leverage cap of 800x. You can freely adjust this cap in your account settings to suit your trading needs. Available leverage caps include 2x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x, 100x, 200x, 400x, 500x, and 800x.

Your account leverage and the existing tiered leverage for each instrument together determine the final leverage applied to your order. When you open a position, the system automatically applies whichever value is lower: effective leverage = min(account leverage, tiered leverage for each instrument).
For example: if you set your account leverage to 100x and the current instrument's tier 1 leverage is 800x, your effective leverage will be 100x.
Important: update the app to v2.94.0 or later.

With the new leverage logic now live, the calculations for estimated margin and maximum position size when opening a position have been updated accordingly. If you're using an older version of the app, these figures may not display accurately. To ensure a smooth trading experience, we recommend updating to the latest version as soon as possible.
