Glonghui, May 26|According to DIGITIMES citing industry sources, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang arrived in Taiwan on May 23 ahead of schedule and is expected to stay for more than ten days. His itinerary includes visits to TSMC founder Morris Chang, CEO C.C. Wei, and Quanta chairman Barry Lam. AMD CEO Lisa Su will visit Taiwan shortly after. Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger will also arrive in Taiwan this weekend. In addition to internal meetings and arrangements with TSMC executives, he has three confidential meetings planned with the Taiwan supply chain and will deliver a keynote speech at ComputeX on June 2. Some media outlets report that the concentrated visits by the CEOs of the three major companies are seen by the industry as a strategic move to secure key AI infrastructure production capacity for the next three to five years in advance.
