The Capesize Index (BCI) decreased by 46 points, or 0.9%, to 4,834 points, its lowest since May 5. Average daily earnings for Capesize vessels fell by $425, to $40,335. The Panamax Index (BPI) declined by 98 points, or 4.1%, to 2,276 points. Average daily earnings for Panamax vessels decreased by $882, to $20,458.
