TownSquare completes a total funding round of $16.25 million, aiming to accelerate institutional yields adoption for USD1 and RWA

Foresight News reports that TownSquare, an infrastructure platform focused on institutional yield and cross-chain lending brokerage services, has completed a Pre-A round of financing, bringing its total funding to 16.25 million US dollars. Participating investors include World Liberty Financial Ecosystem Fund, Auros Ventures, a certain exchange Ventures, Moca Network, Amber Group, Arcane, SHV, Animoca Ventures, GEM, Bixin Ventures, DoraHacks, B-side, Ankaa Accelerator, Mulana Capital, Typhon Ventures, as well as angel investors from teams such as Monad, a16z, Solana Bonk, Donut Browser, WorldClaw, Turtle, Stakestone, Fastlane, Sixpence, Kintsu, and Aspecta. The funds raised will be used to accelerate institutional adoption of USD1 and other RWA (Real World Assets) yield opportunities.

Previously, TownSquare announced a 100 million US dollars USD1 liquidity program and completed the deployment of USD1 on Monad EVM L1 in collaboration with the World Liberty Financial team. Currently, it is preparing to launch yield pool products, which are expected to support liquidity programs and institutional yield pools for assets such as USD1, on-chain gold, and cbBTC on chains including Monad and BNB Chain. These products will further combine institutional strategies and liquidity with public chain ecosystems, greatly improving asset efficiency within the ecosystem and strengthening the connection between TradFi and DeFi.
