Aptos will launch the first Korean Won stablecoin, KRW1, to promote the development of online payments in South Korea.
BlockBeats News, May 16 - Aptos Labs announced that the world's first Korean Won-pegged stablecoin, KRW1, will be launched on the Aptos Network. The stablecoin, issued by BDACS Korea, aims to promote on-chain payments and digital business applications in the Korean and global markets.
Aptos stated that the selection of its platform as the issuance infrastructure was based on its full-stack blockchain capabilities tailored for "Market and Machine," supporting cross-border and onshore blockchain business scenarios.
