The old version of Transit's TRON contract was exploited, and the official team promises full compensation to affected users.
According to ChainCatcher news, Transit Finance announced that the project recently experienced a security incident. The cause was a historical vulnerability in an early version of its smart contract deployed on TRON, which was abandoned in 2022. The vulnerability was exploited and affected a small number of users. The team stated that after discovering the issue, they promptly completed a thorough investigation, isolation, and repair. On May 12, they further audited and rectified the situation. The currently used contract version has not been affected, has operated safely for over four years, and continues to undergo security audits and monitoring.
