Zcash Foundation takes over management rights of three major core community assets
Foresight News reports that the Zcash Foundation (ZF) has officially taken over the management of three core community assets: the Zcash GitHub organization, the z.cash website and domain name, and the @Zcash account on the X platform. Previously, these assets were managed by ZODL.
ZF will directly manage access permissions and codebase governance of the Zcash GitHub organization. The permissions for existing contributors will remain unchanged, and the codebase will continue to be open source. The daily operations of the z.cash website and @Zcash account will be handled by community contributor ZecHub; the two parties have signed a multi-year cooperation agreement, and the z.cash domain has been redirected to zechub.wiki. ZF stated that this move aims to simplify the coordination mechanism and clarify long-term responsibility ownership.
