Golden Ten Data reported on March 19 that, according to data from the U.S. Treasury Department, Japan held $1.225 trillions in U.S. Treasury bonds in January, compared to $1.186 trillions in December last year. China held $694 billions in U.S. Treasury bonds in January, compared to $684 billions in December. The United Kingdom held $895 billions in U.S. Treasury bonds in January, compared to $866 billions in December.
