Germany’s Private Sector Sees Strongest Growth in Four Months
In February, Germany’s private sector experienced its fastest expansion in four months, according to the latest preliminary HCOB PMI® survey. Both manufacturing and service industries contributed to this improvement, driven by a continued rise in demand for goods and services. New business volumes increased for the fourth time in five months, highlighting ongoing market momentum.
Although job cuts persisted, the rate of workforce reduction eased somewhat, coinciding with a stabilization in outstanding workloads and a slight improvement in business outlooks for the coming year. Recent figures also provided insights into pricing trends within the sector.
