Show original
According to a report by Bijie Network: Wirex's Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform has facilitated the launch of the Chimera card, a bitcoin-funded debit card. Chimera enables non-custodial card issuance, EUR/USD IBAN accounts, and DeFi yield infrastructure through a single API, allowing for global rollout within weeks. The card supports direct top-ups via bitcoin or the Lightning Network and can be used at merchants worldwide, while users retain self-custody of their assets. Pre-orders are now open, and early users can enjoy a permanent 1.5% transaction fee.
