A certain exchange opened up by 1.66% after its board of directors rejected a hostile takeover bid and continued to recommend a transaction with another exchange. Another exchange opened down by 3.02%, with reports stating that its $10 billion Michigan data center project had reached an impasse, but the company later responded that the related equity transaction was still proceeding as planned.
