A user in North Carolina had their cold wallet stolen, losing approximately $3 million worth of XRP.
Foresight News reported that North Carolina crypto user Brandon LaRoque posted a video stating that his ELLIPAL cold wallet was stolen, resulting in a loss of over 1.2 million XRP (approximately $3 million). The hacker first transferred 10 XRP as a test, and then within two minutes transferred about 1.29 million XRP. After the funds were sent to a new wallet, they were dispersed to around 30 wallets (each batch containing 38,000 to 40,000 XRP), and then further "laundered" by being distributed to 500-900 wallets. The user has already reported the case to the authorities.
