Katana Launches, Airdropping Approximately 15% of KAT Tokens to POL Stakers on Ethereum
Foresight News reports that the Katana Foundation has announced the launch of the Katana Network, incubated by Polygon Labs and GSR, and deployed with the support of Conduit. Katana is a graduate project of the Agglayer Breakout program. Katana uses Agglayer as a standard bridge and employs VaultBridge to generate actual returns. It also becomes the first Agglayer CDK chain utilizing the CDK OP Stack, officially ushering in the multi-stack era of Agglayer. The Katana Foundation plans to give back to the Polygon ecosystem by airdropping approximately 15% of KAT tokens to POL stakers on Ethereum. The Katana private mainnet is now live and will be open for access in late June 2025.
