The three major A-share indices collectively adjusted, with the Shanghai Composite Index losing its hold on 3300 points. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 6.62%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 8.15%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 10.59%.
More than 5000 stocks in the entire market declined, with a total transaction amount exceeding RMB 2.9 trillion.
