September 18 news, the Swiss Stock Exchange SIX is exploring the establishment of a cryptocurrency trading platform in Europe, and considering leveraging its reputation and Switzerland's advanced crypto laws to attract large traditional investors who are increasingly interested in digital asset trading. Bjørn Sibbern, Global Head of Exchanges at SIX Group said: "Cryptocurrency has increasingly become a recognized asset class," he added that the company is studying the creation of "a platform that allows us to facilitate transactions, whether it's spot cryptocurrencies or derivatives."
