Base TVL currently exceeds 7.8 billion USD, setting a new record and surpassing Optimism to become the second largest L2 network
PANews reported on June 7th that, according to L2BEAT data, the total value locked (TVL) in the Layer2 network Base is currently $7.81 billion, setting a new historical high with an increase of 9.91% on June 7th. The TVL of Base has now surpassed Optimism, making it the second largest Layer2 network after Arbitrum.
