According to CME's "Fed Watch", the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 97.5%, and the probability of a rate cut by 25 basis points is 2.5%. The likelihood of the Fed maintaining steady rates until June stands at 88.2%, with an accumulated chance of a rate cut by 25 basis points at 11.5% and a cumulative possibility for a reduction by 50 basis points at just 0.2%.
