Gracy Chen released an open letter in Chinese, in which she reviewed Bitget's major breakthroughs in 2023. Among them, Bitget's
spot trading volume increased by 94% in 2023, launched 355 new currencies, a year-on-year increase of 46%. The number of Bitget employees increased from 1,100 to 1,500 and the number of users grew from eight million to twenty million. The price of BGB rose from $0.18 to a new high of $0.70499 in December, an increase of up to 291%.
In her letter,
Gracy Chen also mentioned predictions for the future: She believes that BRC-20 and ARC-20 as well as
Bitcoin expansion sectors are one of the most noteworthy areas for attention in 2024;
Ethereum Gas fees will continue to decrease after Cancun upgrade which is beneficial for the entire ecosystem; AI combined with
blockchain has long-term potential. In addition, within its development strategy for next year , Bitget will focus on three key areas: compliance, emerging
markets and Web3.
