Marathon Digital CEO Fred Thiel在接受彭博社采访时表示，计划在未来两年内收购竞争对手的比特币矿企和相关基础设施。他说：“我们打算在2024年和2025年大幅扩张，你会看到我们成为行业的整合者”。Thiel认为，SEC批准现货比特币ETF应该对矿商有利，因为这将提振对加密货币的整体需求。 Marathon Digital总部位于拉斯维加斯，是最大的加密矿企之一，该公司股价今年上涨了400%以上，而比特币同期上涨了约160%。
