Paraguay’s House of Representatives requests the government to submit official information on domestic crypto mining activities
ChainCatcher news, on December 4, the Paraguayan House of Representatives passed two resolutions requiring government departments to submit official information on domestic crypto mining activities to strengthen regulation and transparency.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce is required to specify the current number of individuals and enterprises registered and authorized to engage in virtual asset mining, and to provide relevant information. The National Electricity Administration has been asked to disclose the number of electricity connections specifically approved for crypto mining, the responsible parties, and the installation locations. Both agencies must respond within 15 days.
