Mizuho Securities: Hassett Effect May Put Pressure on the US Dollar
According to ChainCatcher, citing Jinse Finance, Mizuho Securities analyst Varathan stated that the US dollar has remained stable due to the significantly increased likelihood of a Federal Reserve rate cut. However, as the possibility of Hassett being nominated as the next Federal Reserve Chair rises, the US dollar exchange rate has declined. Varathan pointed out that investors are factoring in the potential politicization of the Federal Reserve under Hassett, believing that the "Hassett effect" could put pressure on the US dollar, and the risk of dollar depreciation remains high.
