Rain Acquires Uptop to Bring On-Chain Rewards to Wallets and Cards
Quick Breakdown
- Rain acquires Uptop to add on-chain rewards to its enterprise wallet and card platform.
- The integration enables automatic loyalty earnings on everyday card spend.
- Uptop expands beyond sports to retail, travel, dining, and entertainment rewards.
Rain, a global enterprise infrastructure provider for stablecoin-powered payments, has acquired Uptop, an on-chain rewards platform, to expand its full-stack offering for card and wallet programs. The acquisition allows Rain to offer native, blockchain-based rewards directly within its stablecoin ecosystem, enabling enterprises to launch branded cards and wallets with integrated loyalty programs.
The move follows Rain’s $58 million Series B funding and reflects the company’s strategy to provide a fully integrated, end-to-end stablecoin infrastructure. This includes on-ramps, wallets, cards that work anywhere Visa is accepted, off-ramps, payouts, and now on-chain rewards, allowing businesses to scale payment and loyalty programs with a single platform.
Building with Rain just got even more rewarding.
We’ve acquired @Uptop_xyz , the platform turning everyday card swipes into loyal fans. Now, rewards are baked into our stablecoin infrastructure, not bolted on.

Farooq Malik, CEO and Co-founder of Rain, said,
“By integrating rewards, Rain continues to lead the stablecoin industry as a comprehensive platform that lets partners go live and scale fast while keeping the consumer experience simple. With Uptop, any partner can launch a Starbucks-style wallet and rewards program that drives engagement and loyalty.”
Expanding rewards beyond sports
Uptop has historically powered rewards programs for sports teams, such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, and LSU Athletics, as well as broader programs like the Empire State Building Ambassador Program. Under Rain, Uptop will expand into retail, travel, entertainment, and dining, using its Avalanche-based on-chain architecture to deliver low-latency, high-volume loyalty experiences. Cardholders will earn rewards automatically on everyday spend, while partners can sponsor bonus-earn events to drive engagement and retention.
Building the future of stablecoin loyalty
By integrating Uptop into its stack, Rain strengthens its position as a stablecoin infrastructure leader, delivering secure, scalable payment solutions with native rewards. The acquisition enables enterprises, neobanks, and platforms to deploy branded wallets and cards at scale, combining crypto payments, compliance, and loyalty in one platform. Uptop will continue to operate as an independent brand under Rain while supporting this expanded ecosystem.
In a related development, Conflux Network has officially launched USDT₀ and CNHT₀ on its blockchain, signaling a significant step forward in stablecoin interoperability and real-world liquidity integration.
