  • Tom Lee’s Bitmine Immersion bought over $1 billion in ETH in 48 hours.
  • The most recent ETH accumulation move added $953.1 million in ETH.
  • Lee expects $12,000 – $22,000 ETH ATH price ATHs possibly this Q4.

Despite falling sentiments for crypto prices in Q4, the crypto community is driven to expect positive and bullish outcomes due to the continued accumulation action from financial institutions and crypto treasuries. To highlight, Tom Lee’s Bitmine Immersion bought over $1 billion in ETH in 48 hours. What’s more, Lee expects a bullish price surge outcome for ETH with pump price targets between $12,000 to $22,000.

Tom Lee’s Bitmine Immersion Bought Over $1 Billion in ETH in 48 Hours

This bull cycle saw rapid growth in institutional accumulation of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) . This is because both BTC and ETH saw a large spike in demand thanks to the success of Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETF launches. The fact that demand surged significantly was a huge sign of growing mainstream adoption for these promising crypto assets on a global scale.

The sudden surge in demand led to financial institutions scrambling to accumulate large amounts of both BTC and ETH since the service was launched. Since then, increased accumulation efforts from financial institutions and treasuries have led to exchange supplies hitting their lowest records in years, marking another bullish indicator hinting at a parabolic price pump for BTC and ETH, driven by a sudden supply shock.

It seems most treasuries are counting on this supply shock sparked exponential price pump and are heavily accumulating both BTC and ETH at an unprecedented rate. To highlight, some entities are accumulating a lot more ETH compared to BTC as they believe the pump potential of ETH is a lot stronger than that of the pump potential of BTC, so far into the ongoing bull cycle. With BTC having set many ATH already and ETH just entering price discovery, this is an interesting call.

One entity even went as far as completely switching its strategy from holding and mining BTC to stopping all BTC mining operations, and swapped all of their BTC holdings to ETH. Since then, this entity has been aggressively accumulating BTC, beating out Saylor’s BTC accumulation speed, and aims to hold 5% of the total ETH supply. This company is Bitmine Immersion and is being led by Tom Lee.

As we can see from the posts above, Bitmine Immersion just bought over $1 billion worth of ETH in the last 48 hours. In detail, it bought $953.1 million worth of Ethereum in its latest buy move. The entity now owns over 2% of the total ETH supply, and Tom Lee believes the price of ETH will go on to hit ATH prices between $12,000 – $22,000 soon and even predicts a cycle top price of $60,000 – $62,000 for ETH.
