Qubic: Has Surpassed 51% of Monero’s Hashrate but Chooses Not to Take Over the Monero Network
According to Jinse Finance, Qubic announced that it has achieved over 51% of Monero's hash power, effectively gaining control of the network, but has chosen not to take over the Monero network, thereby demonstrating the strength of this theory through concrete action. Previously, Qubic responded on Twitter to the 51% attack incident on Monero, stating that the Monero (XMR) experiment is proceeding as planned and everything will be revealed at the appropriate time. SlowMist founder Cosine commented that the 51% attack on Monero appears to have succeeded, and the Qubic mining pool can now theoretically rewrite the blockchain, enable double-spending, and censor any transactions.
