U.S. Appeals Court Rejects Trump Administration's Request to Halt Layoffs and Restructuring Plan
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on May 30 local time, the U.S. Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, headquartered in San Francisco, rejected the Trump administration's request to suspend a lower court's ruling. This ruling prohibits the Trump administration from advancing plans for large-scale federal employee layoffs and government agency restructuring. This means that the Trump administration is currently unable to continue with plans to cut tens of thousands of federal jobs and close numerous government agencies and projects.
