The Blockchain Group completes $72 million convertible bond issuance to increase Bitcoin holdings
According to a report by Jinse Finance, The Blockchain Group announced on Monday that it has completed the issuance of convertible bonds totaling 63.3 million euros (approximately 72 million USD) to further purchase Bitcoin. The company also stated in a declaration that it plans to purchase approximately 590 more Bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to over 1,400. Back in March of this year, The Blockchain Group announced an increase of 580 Bitcoins, marking its largest purchase since adopting the Bitcoin hoarding strategy.
