Analyst: US March PPI data suggests inflation may cool further
April 11, 2012 - Adam Button, an analyst at financial website Forexlive, commented on the US March PPI, saying, according to Golden Ten, "This is a welcome cooling, suggesting that some counter-inflation is in the pipeline, and with the recent drop in oil and commodity prices, there's There will be more cooling to come." A 4.0% drop in energy prices, a 2.1% drop in food prices and an 11.1% drop in gasoline prices accounted for two-thirds of the drop in commodity prices.
