Trump about to announce reciprocal tariffs
US President Donald Trump will unveil so-called reciprocal tariff measures at the White House at 4 p.m. ET on 2 April, or 4 a.m. GMT+8 on 3 April. White House press secretary Levitt said on 1 April that the measures would take effect immediately after Trump's announcement. The move has sparked warnings from the US political class and concerns from the private sector.
