Three major U.S. stock indices closed collectively higher
The three major U.S. stock indices closed collectively higher, with the Dow up 1.14%, the Nasdaq up 1.46%, and the S&P 500 up 1.12%, and large tech stocks were up, with Microsoft up more than 3%, and Tesla, Amazon, Meta, and Broadcom up more than 2%. Cryptocurrencies, airlines, precious metals and mining sectors rose, Strategy rose more than 12%, Hecla Mining rose more than 7%, JetBlue rose more than 6%, American Airlines, Southern Copper rose more than 5%, CEX more than 4%. Oil and gas sector lower, Marathon Oil fell more than 5%, Occidental Petroleum fell more than 2%, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil fell nearly 2%.
