ECB cuts interest rate by 25 bps to 2.75% for deposits as expected
On January 30th, according to Golden Ten Data, the ECB announced a 25 basis point rate cut, lowering the deposit facility rate to 2.75%, in line with market expectations. This is the fourth consecutive meeting of the ECB to cut interest rates by 25 BP. at the same time, the main refinancing rate was reduced from 3.15% to 2.90%, and the marginal lending rate from 3.40% to 3.15%.
