The Salvadoran Congress has quickly passed legislation to amend its Bitcoin laws to comply with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreement. Ruling party member Elisa Rosales said the amendment aims to ensure the permanent status of Bitcoin as a legal currency while promoting its practical application.
