The German parliamentary election is imminent, and several politicians oppose Musk's remarks

The election for the German Parliament's lower house, the Bundestag, will take place next month. Recently, American entrepreneur Elon Musk publicly supported the far-right Alternative for Germany party in an article and launched verbal attacks on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier among others on social media. This has sparked controversy in German politics and provoked opposition and protests from several political figures in Germany. In his New Year's address on December 31 last year, Scholz indirectly criticized Musk, stating that Germany's future "will not be determined by the owners of social media". The current Deputy Prime Minister from the Green Party, Habek also criticized Musk's comments in his New Year speech. Subsequently, during an interview with Der Spiegel weekly magazine he expressed strong dissatisfaction with Musk’s remarks warning him not to interfere with the Bundestag elections.
