Ripple's President of Asia Pacific: The United States is "far behind" in terms of cryptocurrency, elections cannot quickly solve the problem
Fiona Murray, President of Ripple Asia Pacific, stated that the United States is lagging behind cryptocurrency-friendly regions such as Singapore and the UAE, but there's still a chance to catch up. Donald Trump might have become the first U.S. president to buy a burger with Bitcoin, and Democrats may also develop a liking for cryptocurrencies. However, Murray is skeptical about whether the upcoming election could easily solve problems in American industries. "I think it's not just an issue of elections; you need to get all banks on board with the Web3 community and start developing from there," said Murray.
