French President Macron: Telegram CEO Pavel Durov arrested due to judicial investigation
French President Emmanuel Macron said that the arrest of Pavel Durov, CEO of the social platform Telegram, was not politically motivated as part of a judicial investigation. A police spokesman said that Pavel Durov was accused of failing to cooperate in cyber and financial crimes on the platform.
