Bitcoin's computing power is approaching its peak, and the mining difficulty may reach a new high
According to data from Luxor's hashrateindex.com, Bitcoin's computing power is currently hovering around 660EH/s, only 17EH/s lower than the peak of 677EH/s recorded on July 25, 2024. Analysts say that despite a recent decrease in mining difficulty by 4.19%, current predictions suggest that this downward adjustment may become history. On August 28th, the difficulty of Bitcoin mining is expected to increase by at least 4%, which could push it up to its highest historical level of 90.67T.
