BlockBeats reports, on August 16th, the annualized number of new housing starts in the United States for July was 1.238 million units, lower than the expected 1.33 million units. The previous figure has been revised from 1.353 million units to 1.329 million units.
In addition, the total number of building permits in the United States for July was 1.396 million units, less than the expected 1.429 million units with no revision from its previous value of 1.446 million units.
