U.S. stocks open sharply lower, Nvidia falls below 100 dollars
The three major U.S. stock indices opened sharply lower, with the Dow Jones falling 1070 points, the S&P 500 index down 4.2%, and the Nasdaq down 6%. Star tech stocks plummeted, with Nvidia (NVDA.O) dropping 13% and its share price breaking below $100; Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSM.N) fell by 10%, Apple (AAPL.O) dropped by 9%, and Tesla (TSLA.O) declined about 11%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index fell by 2.4%.
