The U.S. government has sold at least 195,000 BTC since 2014, making a profit of over $366 million
According to Lookonchain monitoring, the U.S. government-related wallet address sent 3940 Bitcoins to CEX. Data from Bitcoin Treasuries shows that the U.S. government currently holds 213,546 Bitcoins, valued at over $13 billion based on current market prices. Jameson Lopp, co-founder of Casa, stated that since 2014, the U.S. government has seized and sold at least 195,091 Bitcoins, making a profit of more than $366 million.
