Data: The number of ETH destroyed yesterday was only 266, a new low since the EIP-1559 upgrade
ChainCatcher reports that the current Ethereum gas fee is hovering between 2 and 5 gwei, one of the lowest levels so far. The decrease in network fees has led to a reduction in ETH being burned. On Sunday, only 266.06 ETH were burned, setting a new low since the EIP-1559 upgrade.
According to Ultrasound.money data, over the past week, Ethereum's supply has experienced inflation with a growth rate of 0.56%, which is contrary to its previous deflationary nature. If activity picks up and more ETH is burned than issued, it will once again fall into deflation.
