Polygon launches a 1 billion POL community grant program

Polygon Labs announces the launch of a 1 billion POL community grant program CGP, with 35 million MATIC allocated to projects built on Polygon in the first quarter. Applications are open today and will close on August 31, 2024. Polygon Labs states that according to community consensus, a community treasury has been created which will unlock 1 billion POL over the next ten years, approximately 100 million POL per year, all owned by builders.
