Bitcoin mining company Stronghold produced 82 BTC in May
Bitcoin mining company Stronghold Digital Mining reported that its monthly Bitcoin mining output in May fell by 47.1%. The company mined 82 BTC in the first full month after halving, compared to 155 BTC in April. Meanwhile, the monthly income was $5.2 million, a decrease of 46% from the previous month. Stronghold attributed this decline to halving. The company stated: "The main reason for the decline is the first full month after halving." The company also reported that the average hash price in May was $0.052 per TH/s, lower than $0.095 in April. This change was attributed to halving and block reward reduction, a drop of 0.8% in Bitcoin prices and transaction fees falling from 25.3% in April to 7.4% in May.
