Turkish authorities detain 127 suspects in major cryptocurrency bust
On May 31st, Turkish authorities carried out a crackdown in 21 provinces in Ankara, detaining 127 suspects accused of "international fraud through Ponzi schemes" and "committing crimes and laundering criminal proceeds." In this operation, authorities seized over 177 immovable properties and 61 movable properties, worth 1 billion Turkish lira. In addition, they also confiscated an unlicensed firearm, a blank-firing gun, and some encrypted assets.
