Ethereum co-founder: The US SEC does not want ETH to change the banking landscape
On May 9, Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin believed that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) deliberately hindered innovation, which threatened the existing financial landscape in the United States. He said: "The SEC seems to have reclassified ETH as a security, but did not tell anyone that this was indeed the case. They are taking a series of strategic enforcement actions instead of open discussions and clear rulemaking. The SEC may not want to see a wave of innovation that truly changes the landscape."
