CME Fed Watch: 97.0% probability of keeping rates unchanged in March
CME Fed Watch data showed that the probability of the Fed keeping rates unchanged in the 5.25%-5.50% range in March was 97.0%, and the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut was 3.0%. The probability of keeping rates unchanged through May is 81.2%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 18.3%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 0.5%.
