U.S. Treasury Secretary: no evidence sovereign investors are dumping U.S. assets
U.S. Treasury Secretary Ben Bessent says he doesn't think there's a sell-off of U.S. assets in the bond market. It's one of those shocks that the trading community occasionally encounters. I've seen an increase in foreign competition in U.S. debt auctions. The dollar remains the global reserve currency. There is no evidence that sovereign investors are selling U.S. assets.
