Hong Kong police arrest three people suspected of counterfeit currency fraud.
According to reports, the Hong Kong police have arrested three suspects who are accused of using counterfeit Hong Kong dollars to defraud a businessman. It is alleged that the criminal suspects provided the victim with three bundles of 1000 Hong Kong dollar bills, most of which were fake, in exchange for cryptocurrency assets worth 3.11 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately $399,000). An insider revealed that only the top and bottom notes in each bundle were genuine, while the rest were counterfeit, commonly referred to as training notes.
